Press Release Body: July 2008 is Determination Month as part of NAK Martial Art's
POWerful Words Character Development program, students will be learning and
experiencing life changing lessons about Determination. In addition to all of the
physical skills that they\'ll be developing, students will be discussing and
practicing the following concepts that will help them to understand the benefits of
being determined and the effect is has on themselves and everyone around them.
Students will discover the answers to the following questions:

. What are my strengths and limitations? How do I use or overcome them?
. What are my needs, wants, and preferences? What drives me?
. How do I plan and set goals? What choices do I make?
. What are the risks and consequences of being determined versus lazy?

"Determined people typically have a clear understanding of their strengths,
limitations, interests and needs. They use this understanding to make important
decisions about their goals, evaluate their progress, make adjustments, and follow
through to completion." says Dr Robyn Silverman, NAK Martial Art's child &
adolescent expert, and creator of the POWerful Words Character Development program
used at the facility.
